Tropical Storm Colin Nearing Landfall

Tropical storm Colin is nearing landfall this and is currently located just off shore of the coastline of the Big Bend  region of Florida.

Tropical storm Colin is currently located  at 29.8°N 83.8°W. Colin is currently moving northeast at 22mph and has maintained its intensity today and still has maximum sustained winds of 5omph; however, the pressure has dropped to 1002 millibars.

Watches and warning: A tropical storm warning remains in effect for along the West Coast of Florida from Indian Pass, FL to Englewood, FL. On the East Coast a tropical storm warning is in effect from Sebastian Inlet, FL to Oregon Inlet, NC.

Forecast for Colin: Colin will continue to impact parts of Florida tonight and will move off over the Southwest Atlantic tomorrow. It will bring tropical storm force winds, heavy rainfall, and some coastal flooding from the East Coast of Florida to Coastal North Carolina. It should then quickly move out over the Northern Atlantic away from the US by tomorrow night.
