Strong to Severe Storms Possible Tomorrow

Strong to severe storms will be possible across a good chunk of the region tomorrow, ahead of a front.

Placement: The greatest chance for strong to severe storms tomorrow will be in the category 2 (“slight”) risk area. However, a few strong to severe storms will also be possible in the category 1 (“marginal”) risk area.

Timing: Storms, some being supercells, will develop across Western portions of the threat area tomorrow afternoon; pushing east, across the remainder of the threat area, into tomorrow evening.

Threats: Damaging wind gusts and hail will be the primary threats tomorrow. A brief isolated tornado or two can’t be ruled out either, but the tornado threat is rather low.
