11 PM EDT – Maria to Make Landfall in Puerto Rico Tomorrow as a Category 5 Storm

Maria remains a category 5 hurricane.

As of the 11 PM AST (11 PM EDT) advisory, Maria had maximum sustained winds of 175mph, a minimum central pressure of 909 millibars, and was moving west-northwest at 10mph.

Landfall will occur in Puerto Rico tomorrow, likely as a category 5, during the morning hours.

Devastating, catastrophic impacts are likely.
