Outlook for the Upcoming Winter Weather Event Tuesday, Wednesday

(1/14/18 – 10:43 PM CST) – Here is our latest — and first — outlook for the winter weather event expected Tuesday/Wednesday. Changes are possible, so be sure to check back for updates.

Zone A: Snowfall accumulations of 1 – 2″, with some minor ice accumulations possible across North Louisiana.

Zone B: Some light snowfall accumulations will be possible (<1″). Along parts of the mid and upper Texas Gulf Coast, there looks like there will be more sleet and freezing rain than snow, with light to possibly moderate ice accumulations likely.

Zone C: A very light wintry mix is possible — including a few snowflakes — with little to no accumulations.
