Las Vegas Gets Rare Snowfall

Las Vegas and surrounding areas got some snow overnight and this morning (yes, snow). And believe it or not, this is not the first time this winter either.

According to National Weather Service (NWS) Las Vegas, the daily snowfall record for the city for February 20th was broke.

This is also the second latest date in which a half inch of snow or more was recorded for the winter season.

The system that brought Vegas snow will bring the threat for severe weather to the South this weekend.
