Tornado Watch in Effect Until 11 PM for Parts of AL and the FL Panhandle

Watch area and initial radar as of 3:51 PM CDT.

A tornado watch is now in effect for parts of western and southern Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle until 11 PM CDT.

Mobile, AL, Tuscaloosa, AL, and Pensacola, FL are included.

A few tornadoes and severe wind gusts up to 70 MPH are likely. Some isolated hail is also a possibility. A strong tornado or two can’t be ruled out.
