Tornado Watch in Effect for Parts of Louisiana and Mississippi Until 3 PM CDT

Watch area and initial radar valid as of 8:16 AM CDT.

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of southern and eastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi, effective until 3 PM CDT.

New Orleans, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, Biloxi, MS and Hattiesburg, MS are some cities included.

Tornadoes and wind gusts up to 70 MPH will be possible.
