2.8 Magnitude Earthquake Reported in Madison County, MS Friday Morning

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake shook Madison County, MS and adjacent areas Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter was about 6 miles northeast of Madison, MS.

No damage was reported.

WAPT reported that there were “reports of shaking in Fannin, Pisgah, Sand Hill and the Canton area.
