Another Round of Severe Weather is Likely This Weekend

Another round of severe weather is likely this weekend.

The Storm Prediction Center has defined both a slight (level 2 out of 5) and an enhanced (level 3 out of 5) risk for severe weather Sunday. Expect this to change over the coming days.

Details are still a bit murky. However, model guidance is projecting storms to develop over east Texas/Louisiana Sunday and shift into the Southeast by Sunday night or early Monday.

As of now, all modes of severe weather (tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail) appear possible.
