Quiet Weather Pattern This Week

After an active few weeks it appears we will finally be entering a rather quiet weather pattern this week.

The area will be situated on the western periphery of surface high pressure through Wednesday. This will cause southerly/southeasterly low-level flow to become established and an uptick in moisture.

High temperatures will likely range from the upper 70s to low/mid 80s each day this week. Lows will be in the low/mid 60s Monday and Tuesday before rising into the upper 60s Wednesday.

Rain chances will be low, but an isolated shower/storm will be possible each afternoon.

Late this week upper-level ridging (high pressure) will likely build across the Southeast, possibly shifting to the west this weekend into early next week.

An increase in temperatures is expected with high temperatures in the mid/upper 80s and maybe even low 90s possible by Sunday. Subsidence from the ridge should keep rain chances low. However, a few isolated showers/storms driven by daytime heating and/or the sea breeze can’t be ruled out.
