Tropical Depression Two Forms Off Coast of North Carolina

Invest 93L has rapidly developed into the second tropical depression of the 2021 Atlantic hurricane season off of the coast of North Carolina.

Tropical Depression Two currently has maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, a minimum central pressure of 1006 millibars, and is moving northeast at 21 mph.

Tropical Depression Two is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm, but it will continue to move northeast, away from the United States.
