Cold Front to Bring Cooler, Drier Air This Weekend

Temperatures will once again peak in the mid to upper 80s, which is a few degrees above average, today. A high of 86 is expected in Pensacola. However, a cold front is going to move through the area tomorrow morning.

Cloud cover will increase later today/tonight as the fronts approaches, and a few showers can’t be ruled out tonight and early tomorrow morning. But the front will move east of the area by mid to late tomorrow morning bringing any showers with it.

A much cooler, drier air mass will move in behind the front. Dew points will drop into the 40s and 50s by tomorrow afternoon, and temperatures will fall into the 50s across much of the area tomorrow night/Sunday morning.

Nice weather is in store for Sunday with clear skies and high temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Low temperatures overnight Sunday/Monday morning will range from the mid 50s to around 60 at the coast with high temperatures Monday in the 70s.
