Marginal Risk for Severe Weather Tomorrow

Some isolated strong/severe storms will be possible across east Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the extreme western Florida Panhandle tomorrow along/ahead of a southeastward moving cold front.

Instability will be limited keeping the overall severe weather threat low (but not zero). The Storm Prediction Center has defined a marginal (level 1 out 5) risk for severe weather.

Tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail will all be possible. Storms will push across northeast Texas, northern Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama tomorrow morning and move southeast with the front as the day progresses.

Storms will likely weaken as they move into southeast Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the western Florida Panhandle late tomorrow afternoon/tomorrow evening.
