Wintry Mix Expected Across Extreme Northern Mississippi, Alabama Tomorrow

Extreme northern Mississippi and Alabama are likely to get another round of light wintry precipitation tomorrow.

A mix of rain, snow, and sleet is expected primarily from early tomorrow morning into tomorrow evening. Freezing rain (ice) will also be likely.

Any accumulations should be light (snow < 1″). Impacts will likely be minimal/limited for northern Mississippi and Alabama, but will be greater just to the north in Tennessee.

Black ice will also be concern overnight as arctic air begins to move in causing temperatures to drop well below freezing.
